Well after a long night of packing, and a morning of packing, we had our last Buffet Breakfast at the Lake View Hotel in Nanchang...

We hopped aboard the bus for our last Lakeview Hotel Bus Ride. Headed out to the Airport about Noon thirty or so for our 3:50pm flight.

We arrived in pleanty of time and said goodbye to our Brirish friends, as they were headed off to Beijing to the British Consulate.

We were a bit early and had to wait for the Ticket counter for our flight to open. While waiting, Irv took the oppertunity to take a nap, Standing up no less...

Jennifer and I were the adorned by a chinese family. They came over and were excited to see Maleah with us. They showed us Pictures of their 11 month old and even had to go and get their mom and give her a look see at us.

This was a typical response from many other Chinese families. They seemed happy and proud that we were there adopting children.

Then we took off on our hour or so flight to Guangzhou.  Maleah did real well on the Flight. Gave her a bottle to suck on while we gained altitude to help with the ear poping and she came through like a champ!  

With all the Smog, Paul never really saw land all the way to Guangzhou.

Well the last place we stay on our Trip, Guangzhou.

We had a miscommunication with the bus and the new airport rules. The bus could not pick us up in front of the Airport like they used to.  We had to walk quite a bit to the parking lot where we met up with the bus driver and the bus.

We didn't make it to to the Victory Hotel till a bit after 7PM. We still had business to take care of before tomorrow.

We needed the Visa & health exam photos taken. Our appointment wasn't till 8:30pm. Irv and Lia stopped by for a bit before we headed out. It was their first on their own meeting. It went well. We though that it might turn when Maleah took a good stare at Lia Bottle, though we showered her another one and she came crawling for it.

So we tried to see if we had time to get a quick bite before the photos. We didn't see much that tickled our fancy on the way to the Photo place... )-;  We got there and were a bit early, so we just did the photo shot without Chris. They seemed to know why we were there and what we wanted. So we hooked up and for the job done. Chris Arrived a bit later and thanked us for getting it done early…

We then set out again for something to eat.  He had heard there was a Thai Food place in town. After being accosted by a few street vendors we found the Thai place. Gave a quick menu glance and saw that there were other babies in there and decided to go for it.  After all, it was rated as the Best Thai Food in Guangzhou!

Took me quite some time to find something I’d eat on the menu… We were all hungry. We order some appetizers and each a main dish. I found a Vegetable coconut milk dish that was much better after I added the Curry from Paul’s dish. Jennifer had the Pad Thai. There was enough food for 6 people!    The food was okay, though I think we might have found out that it was the best Thai as it might have been the only Thai food place in town. (-;

We scammed for a few Laundry places on the way back to the Hotel and Turned in.
