| A rush to the bank, passport agency and notary | |
Yesterday we were told One person from each group would be going to the bank to change some money and get a receipt, though we got a knock on the door asking everyone to go and to get Maleah’s Passport too while we were out.
Not too much action at the bank. Paul and I being the geeks we are had to use the ATM. It works no problem Dispenses Yuan with no problems…
Picked up Maleah’s passport, She loved it so much she wanted to eat it straight away!
The Notary office went well. We picked up several copies of several documents. Unlike the notaries here in the us where its like $10-20/per document, We had the 9 documents and it was $500 UDS, converted and deposited directly to their bank.
Met a few new families in the Noraty office. A couple from Paris flew in lastnight and got to the Hotel at 9:00pm, They had their babies by 9:15pm! they checked into the hotel in the nick of time!

| The evening events | |
Still feeling not up to the Buffet and now that the Soup is getting old… We ventured out again… This time Pizza Hut. They don’t know about food ‘To Go’ but ‘Take Out’ is an option.
We actually felt pretty good about the Order. One of the employees there rushed over and started to speak pretty good English to us. (pretty good being a relative term)
We returned with some Onion rings, A Hawaiian and Veg Pizza!
3pm came around and it was more paperwork time… We started on the last of the forms, I604, DS 320, I600, Immunizations, Certificates, and Passports, all kinds of docs to check off the list and fill out. Remind me for next time to bring the Rubber stamp for Name, Address Signatures, Phone numbers and Passport Number. Would have cut the time in half! It took a bit over 90 minutes. Though saves us time in Guangzhou I guess…
Adjourned for the evening to update the Maleah Fan Club.
