So I read this book before we left that talked about taking pictures of babies. The key thing they kept mentioning in the book was don’t wait for the shot, just click… Fill the frame with the baby and just click. Take 90+ pictures in 30 minutes. Okay, so I did… Well sort of. I took Maybe 120 Pictures in about 20 minutes.
Here are some from the morning photo shoot.

We then got ready and went to another temple. This one was much larger.
One of the Great attractions there was The Great Emperor Muchnick and Empress Lia. We were sure to stop and see them!
The outside Pictures didn’t come out too clear, though not the fault of the camera or anything, it’s actually how you see things here. Its pretty ‘hazy’ as they call it, or Smog where we come from.

We had to get the Department store fix in, so we hitched a lift to the department store near Walmart. As getting to Walmart now is old hat.
This was Jennifer’s First Taxi Ride. I think her eyes were shut for most of it. She has been fortunate on the bus rides that she has not really been able to see out. Though in the Taxi, oh Nellie, you get to see all the cars, people and bikes that you can touch out the window of the car.
One of the first things that caught our eye in the Department store was that every little sub-department in each department had its one rep/attendant. The TV/Video section was the most noticeable. They had sections for, Sony, Panasonic, LG, etc. Each section had someone at their little station waiting to help. Like little guards… Once we got to the baby section we found out about the High-pressure sales… They attached to Jen and would not let her go. We finally got her to stop and were able to pay for our stuff. You get a tag from the ‘Station guard’ and then take that to a cashier, cashier gives you another tag and you pick up the goods…
The other Item to note was the Siemens line of Products. Fridge, Washer/Dryer, etc
So while we were there, Walmart was across the street. Jen had not been yet, so we showed her around the place... We tried to figure out the cookies again, but there didn't seem to be anything special you had to do. We watched other and they just put them in the plastic bag and off they went...
So while we were in line at walmart, Paul ventured to the KFC in the 'lobby' of Walmart. One of the 6 KFCs in 1/2 block radius.
He tried to order Smashed Potatoes, Coleslaw and some roles. They would not sell him the coleslaw. Not sure if they knew deep down that Paul would not eat coleslaw, or what the deal was. He’d point and the lady would waive the finger and say no… She left and another guy tried to get him some and she stopped him and shook her finger at him and told him know too!
He was totally not sure what ended up I the bag when he left. We ended up with some potato salad, Coleslaw, smashed potatoes, some corn-slaw and some mystery chicken part.
I stuck with the Soup… |
